Homeward Bound Rehabilitation provides services for adults with brain injury. The uniqueness of our program is not in what we do, but in how we go about doing it. We believe in working with the whole individual, not just the brain injury. Brain injury is what happened to the individual, not who they are. At Homeward Bound Rehabilitation we look for the abilities of the individual rather than the deficits. We look for what the individual with brain injury can do rather than what they can no longer do which, in turn, leads to their increased independence.
Homeward Bound Rehabilitation has a residential home, Heron House, and a community day program, Bridge to Independence Day Program, serving the Metro Portland, Oregon area. (could we link to the Heron House section or website for Bridge to Independence Day Program from here?)
